After the fat injections are processed and prepared, the practitioner prepares for injection. The total amount of time this procedure should take is roughly two hours. 

Recovery Process After Application

The recovery time with a Hyaluronic filler treatment is quite short. Minor side effects like redness, bruising and swelling may occur for up to a week, however this should subside and skin should be back to normal fairly quickly. With a fat injection filler, the recovery and healing period may take a little longer and scarring should completely disappear within 2-3 weeks. Regardless of the procedure, the practitioner should prescribe aftercare creams to help speed up the recovery and ease the healing. Drinking plenty of water is recommended after both treatments.
